Battle #1
So as Coz wrote yesterday the first battle is in California and we just got a good break. You see Howard Kaloogian is one of the Republicans running and well he just sort of lied big time and got caught.
He said that the picture below was baghdad and that it showed how peachy clean everything in iraq is.
There is just one problem with that, its a picture of turkey.
The spokesman for Kaloogian had this to say to kos (not to be confused with Coz):
"Going from a Congressman as crooked and as on the take as Cunningham to some squeaky clean reformer could upset the balance between graft and necessary capitalism in the district," my Kaloogian campaign source told me. "So Howard purposely told a mild, little lie to let local business interests know that he could be counted on to go to bat for them."
Thats right the Republican strategy is to replace someone corrupt with someone corrupt. Nice job.
